For years I have always wanted to go to the National Sports Collectors Convention. I totally blew it when it was in Atlantic City, NJ 3 years ago and have regretted it ever since (even though I heard that show didn't do as well as the promoters had hoped).

The past three card shows I have went to have been terrible disappointments. Loads of overpriced signed memoribilia grossly outnumbered the dealers selling cards (especially vintage stuff). I am hoping this one will be different. Just give me some 70's-80's basketball cards or loads of commons boxes and I'll be thirlled.

This year's show is in Cleveland, OH. I'm planning on making the drive from New York City and attend on Saturday, August 4th. I'm sure the road trip will be the topic of a future blog post.
