Blog > The Process of Getting a Multi-Signed Vintage Leaders Card

Many of you know about my borderline obsession for getting multiplayer cards signed. Recently, we've had a great thread going on the SCN Message Board "Show off your favorite multi-signed cards!" that I have really enjoyed. I am always on the lookout to pick up affordable cards with multiple guys I can get signed.

This summer I found an off condition of the 1961 Topps #45 NL ERA Leaders card for $1 online a few months back. Even though HOFer Don Drysdale passed away some time ago, I noticed this card had multiple guys that regularly sign my mail.

  • I first sent it to former Cy Young Award winner Mike McCormick in August. He signed it in 7 days

  • Bob Friend back in September, and received the card back signed in 8 days.

  • In October, I sent it to Ernie Broglio. I received it back signed in 8 days

  • Earlier this month I finnlay got around to sending it to former Dodger Stan Williams. I received it back this week signed in 7 days.
