Group led by Eisner buying card maker Topps

I was reading headlines from ESPN this morning and noticed the news. I have been completely turned off by where the sportscard market has gone the past few years with the game used 1/1 annoying chase stuff. I can't even remember the last time I bought a new unopened pack - must be at least 10 years. So I am desperately hoping someone with new ideas can bring excitement back to the hobby so many of us grew up with. New leadership from other industries (like Disney) could do just that. Only time will tell.
